CC2D23S application field and working principle
The CC2D23S is a precise, low-cost capacitance-output humidity and temperature measurement sensor. Higher accuracy and better temperature stability are achieved through digital resolution and temperature compensation systems. It is widely used in fields such as office automation, home appliances, automotive electronics, digital products, industrial control systems, meteorology and many other fields that require humidity and temperature detection.The test system of the CC2D23S is mainly composed of two parts, namely the capacitive sensing element and the signal conditioning circuit. The well-designed signal conditioning circuit has the advantages of better noise immunity and wider operating voltage range, and can realize accurate humidity and temperature detection and compensated signal output.The working principle of the CC2D23S is mainly based on capacitive humidity sensing. The capacitive sensing elements of the CC2D23S use a continuous annular backplate or a linear differential capacitor structure. Its humidity sensing elements are made of special plastic materials with different dielectric constants depending on humidity. When the relative humidity changes, the dielectric constant of the film also changes, and then the capacitance of the sensing element changes. Here the capacitive sensing element acts as a humidity transmitter for the circuit.The capacitance change of the sensing element is converted into an electrical signal. The CC2D23S is connected to an externally driven oscillator, and the oscillator is tuned so that the frequency of oscillation is an inverse function of the capacitance of the sensing element. This frequency signal is detected by the CC2D23S analog circuit and then converted into a digital signal. After digital correction, the precise relative humidity and temperature signals are sent out.In addition to the ability to accurately detect humidity and temperature, the CC2D23S has a built-in EEPROM memory, which can store calibration coefficients, calibration values, and other static data. This EEPROM memory can be written and updated during the operation of the system. It can be used to store a variety of calibration values automatically generated during the operation of the system.
