SI32266CQC20SL0EVB is a low-cost, high efficiency, two-channel synchronous buck buck Evaluation and Demonstration Board (EVB). It is powered by an integrated synchronous buck controller, the SI32266, for DC/DC conversion of 21.6V to 28V input. The output voltage range can be programmable from 0.6V to 6V. The package of the SI32260 allows a full 6A, 12A continuous and 18A peak output power per channel, and possesses low RDSon Integrated Power MOSFETs to minimize conduction losses. The board design is optimized for a best-in-class system performance, and provides superior thermal performance even in high load current applications.

The board is suitable for various end-equipment markets like automotive, medical, home appliances and lighting. It is a compact and easy to use evaluation and demonstration platform empowering system designers to accurately assess the performance of the device. Working Principle

SI32266CQC20SL0EVB can be used as either an isolated synchronous buck or non-isolated synchronous buck. In either case, the output is regulated by the buck converter controller and synchronous rectifier (SG) switching appropriately. This is done by the control circuitry managing the duty cycle of the output voltage of the synchronous rectifier (SG).
