The SI52112-B4-EVB is designed to evaluate and demonstrate the use of these devices in a variety of applications.The board provides two ports of transceiver I/O for easy connection to external devices. Each port is equipped with an integrated transceiver, a digital pin-header interface, and a serial data port. The transceiver I/O ports are capable of supporting LX/EX and 4X/OQ transceivers. The pin-header interfaces provide access for controlling the transceivers and for accessing the device’s core registers. The serial data ports are compliant with various SCI-based protocols and can be configured to support any of the supported SCI-based protocols.The board also includes a high-speed parallel interface that can be used to connect to external devices that support the same protocol as the serial I/Os.
