The SI5335C-B07093-GMR is an advanced clock generator and frequency synthesizer. It combines advanced features with great versatility and performance, making it the ideal solution for a wide range of applications. The SI5335C-B07093-GMR is based on a programmable PLL (Phase Locked Loop) architecture. This allows users to set the output frequency to any frequency in the range that is supported by the device without having to modify external components or circuits. The device features three differential or single ended outputs that can generate frequencies up to 500 MHz. The device provides superior jitter performance of less than 100fs RMS at 500MHz. It is well-suited for clocking DDR, LVDS, and other high-speed logic signalling applications.

Working Principle
The SI5335C-B07093-GMR works by using a programmable Phase Locked Loop (PLL) design to generate its output frequencies. In this PLL, an input frequency is ‘locked’ to an oscillator, allowing the output frequency to be adjusted without the need for additional components or circuits. The device features a highly selective frequency range that can be adjusted, as well as fine tuning of the output frequency. In addition to the main PLL, the device also features 3 independent differential or single ended outputs up to 500MHz.
The SI5335C-B07093-GMR supports a wide range of reference frequencies, including 19.44MHz, 24.576MHz, 25MHz, 38.4MHz, 48MHz and 50MHz, as well as a variable reference frequency of up to 1000MHz. The outputs are phase-matched to within 18° when clocking adjacent rates from different outputs. This ensures that signals from various outputs will stay in sync, regardless of jitter or clock drift.
The device also features on-chip voltage control for setting the output voltage for different types of output drivers. This ensures that the output drivers can operate at their optimal voltage level and reduce the chance of signal distortion or noise due to incorrect voltage levels. The device is also capable of switching the output driver type automatically, without the need for manual adjustment.
The SI5335C-B07093-GMR includes an integrated power-on reset monitor that helps ensure that all output drivers initialize correctly in order to meet their specified performance levels. The SI5335C-B07093-GMR also incorporates integrated ESD protection to protect against electrical overstress.
