Working Principle

SI8622BD-B-ISR consists of an isolated power supply, coding and decoding of digital data, integrated isolation barriers, and communications logic circuitry. The device uses pulse-width modulation (PWM) coding/decoding techniques to provide high-speed data isolation at speeds up to 250kbps. The integrated isolators provide isolation up to 3000V RMS from line-to-line and 4500V RMS from line-to-ground without additional external components.

The device consists of a transmitter, a receiver, and a oscillator circuit. The transmitter converts the input digital signals into PWM signals which are rectified by the receiver by converting them into digital signals. The oscillator zone triggers the transmitter and receiver to generate a linear frequency clock which is in synchronization with the data transfer. This synchronization ensures that the data transmitted from one part of the circuit is accurately received and decoded by the other.

The digital isolator provides high-speed signal transmission between two circuits using PWM coding/decoding techniques and integrated isolation barriers, ensuring that the transmission is reliable and secure.
