The device features built-in self-test circuitry that can detect faulty or improperly connected external components, minimizing problems in development and reducing the time needed for debugging.The SI8650AB-B-IS1’s isolation interface operates with 3 separate signal paths including power. The device features two input/output (I/O) ports supporting bidirectional data transmission up to 2 Mbps. The ports use a logic high signal to enable the digital isolator interface, and a logic low signal for isolation.
