The SIC461EVB is an evaluation board targeted for off-line Switch Mode Power Supply (SMPS). It is used in many different applications such as LED lighting, telecom/datacom, computing, industrial, medical, instrument power, servo control and general-purpose power supplies. The SIC461EVB is a robust board designed with DC/DC (also called step up/step down) and AC/DC (also referred to as isolated and non-isolated) SMPS solutions. The board features a wide input voltage range from 8V to 16V and is capable of delivering up to 60W of output power. It features a wide range of control schemes, including sinusoidal pulse width modulation (PWM) and space-vector modulation (SVM).

The SIC461EVB utilizes a Tinyμ MCU-001 MCU, which has multiple components including a CPU, a memory, timers, ADC, UART and PWM modules. The board is equipped with two DC/DC and two AC/DC regulators and has a wide range of features, such as adjustable current limit, soft start, over voltage protection, thermal shutdown and power-saving functions. The board also has a graphical user interface (GUI) with the ability to make set point adjustments, monitor working conditions, and observe changes from environment and device parameters.
