SKD10306 is a new type of energy-saving and environmental-protection variable frequency drive, which is used to control the speed and torque of AC variable speed motor. It is an economic and reliable solution with high cost performance ratio. It is suitable for the precise machinery, petrochemical industry, construction, metallurgy, rubber and plastic, environmental protection, textiles, packaging, printing, papermaking, food processing, pharmaceutical, chemical, heat supply, air conditioning and other fields.

The theoretical foundation of SKD10306 is the pulse width modulation (PWM) theory, and its working principle is that the high-frequency pulse width modulated DC voltage is controlling the MOS tube to achieve the control of the DC motor. SKD10306 consists of power components, low frequency amplification compensation components and high-frequency pulse width modulation components, and the power component is composed of electric bridge rectifier circuit, and the electric bridge rectifier circuit converts AC power into DC. The thyristor is used in the rectifier circuit, and the thyristor can control the DC voltage by changing the firing angle. After getting DC voltage, the filter network is used to filter the ripple of the DC voltage.

The low frequency amplification compensation component mainly includes the filter circuit, the modulator circuit, the isolating transformer, and the rectifier circuit. The filter circuit can filter the AC voltage, and the modulator circuit can convert low frequency signal into high frequency signal. And the isolating transformer can reduce the interference signal, and the rectifier circuit can output fixed direct current signal. The high-frequency pulse width modulation component includes the PWM circuit, the high-frequency amplifier, the IGBT switch tube circuit, the PWM signal, and the firing tube. The PWM circuit is generally composed of a microcontroller, a comparator, and an oscillator. The microcontroller is used for controlling the DC motor, comparing and controlling the voltage and speed of the motor. The comparator can compare the input voltage with the reference voltage, and send the error signal to the microcontroller. The output voltage of the oscillator and the error signal are sent to the microcontroller to control the width of the pulse. The high frequency amplifier is responsible for amplifying the output pulse signal, while the IGBT switch tube is responsible for chopping the high frequency modulation pulse voltage. Finally, the firing tube is used to generate firing conduction.

In short, the basic working principles of SKD10306 can be summarized as the following points: low frequency compensation, plus the pulse width modulation technology, using the DC voltage, to control the motor speed and torque.
