The SMAJ10A-TP is a surface mount transient voltage suppression (TVS) diode. It is designed to protect voltage sensitive components from over voltage transients and electrostatic discharges (ESD) commonly found in electronic equipment. This diode can be used as a protection element in a variety of applications, including power supplies, A/D and D/A converters, and communication equipment. This TVS diode has an array of features, making it a cost-effective solution when compared to other protection options. The SMAJ10A-TP is designed to provide a low, but effective, clamping voltage, which is ideal for use in applications where the over voltages and electrostatic discharges can cause significant damage to the electronics.
