The SMCJ6067E3/TR13 is a series of zinc-oxide based transient voltage suppressors (TVS) from EIC discrete semiconductor range. This TVS diode series acts as a protection component ensuring power reliability in various applications such as in DC/AC power lines, data and telecoms, automotive and industrial. It is designed to protect the devices from high-energy voltage, overvoltage transients, and electrical fast transients (EFT).

This series provides great surge capability for energy and voltage intensive applications. It features a fast response time, low power dissipation, and no external components required for operation. This series helps to limit energy and voltage on the protected line.

The SMCJ6067E3/TR13 series is built on a silicon structure using diode chips in a bidirectional configuration. It has a breakdown voltage of 6.0V, peak power dissipation of 600 W, peak pulse current of 200 A, and a maximum clamping voltage of 15V. The package of this series includes a SOD-323 plastic small outline package with lead free terminations.

SMCJ6067E3/TR13 can be used in various applications, such as in telecommunication network, crimp-wire reflow, unsoldered and tension clamp models. It is also suitable for protection of all leads for various power and signal wires from overvoltage, high voltage, and electrical fast transients.
