SMLJ150A TVS diodes are used to protect sensitive equipment from both high-energy over-voltage transients and ESD (electrostatic discharge) events. Compared to conventional unidirectional protection diode designs, TVSs feature significantly lower on-state resistance. The SMLJ150A is the highest rated TVS diode available in a SMA (surface-mountable) package. It offers up to 5.5kW of peak power dissipation and up to 130A of peak pulse current. It features transparent isothermal anode-cathode spacings, mean-time-to-failure (MTTF) ratings of up to 50k hours, and a junction temperature range of -65℃ to +175℃. It is ideal for use in computer systems, communications systems, factory automation systems, and audio-video systems.
