The SN65LVCP402RGET is a low-voltage differential signal (LVDS) Buffer and Fanout IC based on advanced CMOS technology, designed to interface between Standard Intel® and AMD™ LVDS Interface and low voltage LVDS Channel. It provides an efficient design solution for applications ranging from body computer to instrumentation, industry control and communication systems.The SN65LVCP402RGET consists of two outputs and a 2.5V Internal supply. The device is specified to operate at 3.3V and 5.0V. It also features Through Loss of power detection (TLPD). The device is also characterized for operation over a range of 0 to 70°C.The SN65LVCP402RGET Buffer/Fanout is ideal for applications including video display Panels, automotive instrumentation, in-flight communication systems and industrial control. The device can be used in Fanout Mode (1:2), Buffer Mode (2:1) or in Event Mode (Input to Output) for low jitter. The SN65LVCP402RGET is tested to ensure reliable operation at the specified temperatures and voltages, supporting a robust design solution for various applications.The device has a wide range of logic inputs and outputs, which can be used to transmit data levels from 1.5V to 3.3V into two different outputs. In addition, the device also features logic inputs, including differential Out and LVDS In. The logic inputs along with the Buffer and Fanout capabilities of the SN65LVCP402RGET make it suitable for applications requiring multiplexing, decoding, transmission and conversion of data.The working principle of SN65LVCP402RGET is based on a CMOS Darlington pair which consists of an NPN transistor and a PNP transistor. The NPN transistor is used for isolating the logic input from the output and the PNP transistor is used to directly link the logic input to the output. The logic signals are converted into an LVDS signal by passing the logic signals through a set of transistors. This then allows for transmission from the LVDS Output to the LVDS Input.The SN65LVCP402RGET is an ideal device for applications requiring a low-voltage differential signaling (LVDS) Buffer/Fanout. It offers multiplexing, decoding, transmission and conversion of data which is reliable, robust and can efficiently interface between Standard Intel® and AMD™ LVDS Interface and low voltage LVDS channel. The device is also characterized for operating temperature range 0 to 70°C, is reliable, and can be used in a range of applications requiring LVDS solutions.
