The SN65LVDS104D is a single-chip, low-voltage differential signaling standard or LVDS interface IC. It integrates a differential receiver and a differential transmitter into a single package, thereby simplifying overall circuit operation and making the part tolerant to data-dependent jitter. It is used extensively in multi-gigabit applications such as Automotive, SCSI, DRAM, Interface Cards, Video/DVI, Compositors and Storage Area Networks (SANs).

This device belongs to the Interface - Signal Buffers, Repeaters, Splitters (IBSR) category and works on the principle of highly efficient data transmission.
