The SN65LVDS104PWRG4 is a quad-channel high-speed low-voltage differential signaling (LVDS) repeater for serial data transmission applications. It is designed to extend signal reach and drive signal loads over long line lengths using a Low-Voltage Differential Signaling (LVDS) logic that reduces signal crosstalk and optimizes system noise margin. The SN65LVDS104PWRG4 can be used in applications operating in temperature range of -40°C to +85°C.

The SN65LVDS104PWRG4 is compatible with IEEE 1596.3-1996 LVDS standards, which utilizes a pair of 20-mA (max) balanced outputs to provide transmission of data at speeds up to 400 Mbps over unshielded 25-Ω twisted-pair cables having a maximum line length of 15 m. The LVDS outputs operate with low voltage swings of 350 mV, minimizing cable power dissipation over the known benefits of minimizing EMI.
