The SN65MLVD129DGG is a type of interface - signal buffer, repeater, splitter, designed for data line protection in applications that require high-speed data transmission. The SN65MLVD129DGG provides output levels of up to +/-200 mV peak-to-peak, data rate dependent, and is able to support data rates up to 3.2 Gb/s per channel and up to 6.4 Gb/s total data rate. The differential output impedance is typically 110 ohms. The input common mode range is 300 mVp-p to 1200 mVp-p, data rate dependent, and is specified over the full operational temperature range of -40 to +105 degrees Celsius.

The SN65MLVD129DGG works by isolating the input signal from the output and amplifying or retransmitting the signal, when necessary. The signal is regenerated using a low-noise, high-speed (LS) amplifier stage and an internal logic. The serial data is then re-driven on the output using a high-speed driver, providing enhanced signal integrity and reduced EMI susceptibility. The low-noise amplifier also amplifies the signal and restores signal amplitude to levels that are compatible with the system\'s cable and receive end.
