SN74ALS667DW is an integrated circuit (IC) chip from Texas Instrument which belongs to the latch family of devices used in digital electronics. These include pin 14 (nCE - active low chip enable), pin 13 (nOE - active low output enable), pin 4 (clock - rising edge triggered) and pin 3 (D – data pin). Data is transferred on the rising edge of the clock signal and the outputs are enabled (OE) when the chip enable (CE) is low.The SN74ALS667DW has two active low chip enable inputs (nCE), which simultaneously control whether the data is transferred from the D pins to the latches or from the latches to the outputs. It also has two active low output enables (nOE) that control whether the outputs are enabled or not. When the nCE is low, data will be latched and transferred from the D pins to the latch, and when it is high, data will be transferred from the latch to the outputs and the outputs will be enabled.The SN74ALS667DW is capable of handling both 3.3V or 5V logic level inputs. It also has provision for ensuring that the outputs are at the same logic levels as the inputs, at 3V or 5V, respectively.
