Working Principle

The SN74CBT3244PWRG4 consists of 24 independent 3-state drivers. Each driver has active LOW and active HIGH outputs. The output state is controlled by a strobes, G1, G2, G3 and G4. The strobes are TTL compatible and each strobe can disable one or more drivers at the same time.

When the input is HIGH and the corresponding strobe is LOW, the driver is in the High Impedance state. When the input is LOW and the corresponding strobe is LOW, the output driver is in active HIGH state. When the input is LOW and the corresponding strobe is HIGH, the output driver is in active LOW state.

The SN74CBT3244PWRG4 has built-in Schmitt trigger input with internal hysteresis to ensure clean transitions. Its output current drive is designed for minimal loading on the bus. It also has Input Transition Current reduction circuitry and ESD protection circuitry.
