It uses low power "Quiet" logic inputs with logic input levels of 5V, 3V and 2.7V.The SN74HC4066DRE4 is organized into 4 banks of independent analog multiplexers and demultiplexers. Each bank includes one switch matrix and associated circuit (for example, logic input and control logic) for controlling the switch. The control logic and logic inputs control the switching of the switch matrix’s two channels. Each channel is capable of carrying up to 16mA current. The SN74HC4066DRE4 includes on chip charge injection protection for maintaining signal purity during switching. The switch matrix is enabled by an active low enable (E) input.
