The SOMDIMM-LPC3250 is an evaluation board designed for embedded applications requiring a powerful general-purpose MCU, DSP, or combination of both. This board is ideal for those looking for an easy-to-use, out of the box solution for evaluating or developing an embedded application. The SOMDIMM-LPC3250 contains an LPC3250 microcontroller from NXP Semiconductors, as well as 16MB of RAM and up to 32KB of Flash memory. It also includes an interface to connect to an external LCD display, as well as an on-board RTC and other peripherals. The SOMDIMM-LPC3250 provides a flexible platform for multicore processing and real-time control. The highly integrated LPC3250 microcontroller integrated into the SOMDIMM-LPC3250 is powered by an ARM926EJ-S processor with a built-in 32-bit hardware multiplier and 512KB of SRAM. This allows for high speed and efficient data processing, as well as a number of real-time control tasks that can be performed simultaneously. The SOMDIMM-LPC3250 is designed to reduce development cost and time by enabling users to quickly evaluate and prototype an embedded application. With its easy-to-use and feature-rich design, the SOMDIMM-LPC3250 allows developers to get up and running quickly, while providing robust tools and software support to speed up the development process from concept to production. The SOMDIMM-LPC3250 offers support for a wide range of development environments and operating systems, such as Linux, Android, Windows Embedded Compact 7 or Windows Embedded Compact 2013. The SOMDIMM-LPC3250 also supports a range of communication interfaces such as Ethernet, USB, CAN, I2C, SPI, UART and RS485, which makes it easy to integrate the SOMDIMM-LPC3250 into a wide range of systems. Additionally, the SOMDIMM-LPC3250 includes a variety of analog and digital peripherals such as analog-to-digital converters, real-time clock, watchdog timers, analog comparators, temperature sensors, and more. The SOMDIMM-LPC3250 also features an on-board debugging interface that enables users to quickly debug and test their software. This interface includes a 10-pin JTAG/SWD connector as well as a USB debug port, both of which allow for debugging using standard JTAG/SWD debuggers such as OpenOCD or Black Magic Probe. Lastly, the SOMDIMM-LPC3250 features an on-board 32-bit ARM Cortex-M3 core, which provides additional flexibility and additional low power consumption for low-power applications. The on-board core supports a range of peripherals including ADC, DAC, RTC, SPI, UART, I2C, and USB. Overall, the SOMDIMM-LPC3250 is a powerful and highly integrated evaluation board that is ideal for those who need an out-of-the-box solution for embedded application development.
