The SP490EN-L device is part of the 500kHz family of board-level, low power, half-duplex, synchronous communication interface transceivers. It is specifically designed to serve as an interface between a low-speed microcontroller, such as an 8-bit MCU, and the asynchronous RS-485 industrial communications networks.
