The STEVAL-ISA082V1 is a high efficiency, low cost, current-mode Flyback SMPS evaluation board. It is designed for both off-line and DC-DC applications. It is suitable for power conversion applications ranging from 50W to 500W and from 48V to 72V. The board is built around NXP Semiconductor\'s CoolMOS™ technology, an advanced MOSFET that provides high efficiency at very high switching frequency.The STEVAL-ISA082V1 evaluation board contains a full set of components to measure and control the output voltage and current. It features adjustable current sensing from 100% to 10% of the output voltage, adjustable frequency up to 2.6MHz, programmable soft-start and adjustable protection against over-voltage, over-current and under-voltage lock-out. It also has selectable output voltage from 24V to 38V and an adjustable input voltage range of 4V to 48V.The board features an on-board control circuit that offers a wide range of control options for both DC-DC and off-line applications. It is designed to enable fast transient response for up to 500W power levels. The board also features isolated power and control outlets that allow multiple applications to be tested.The control interface provides for monitoring of the board’s performance via digital I/O, USB and serial communication interfaces. The STEVAL-ISA082V1 evaluation board is designed to meet international safety standards, including IEC60950 and UL60950.When used in an off-line application, the STEVAL-ISA082V1 evaluation board can be configured for a wide variety of power levels, voltages and currents. It has adjustable output voltage from 24V to 38V, adjustable current sensing from 100% to 10% of the output voltage and adjustable frequency up to 2.6MHz.
