The STEVAL-ISQ002V1 is a demonstration and evaluation kit for STMicroelectronics\' Dual QRS Series power quality combination, the STGW30NC60WD. The STGW30NC60WD is a compact and cost-effective dual-channel improved fourteenth generation IGBT that reduces the power losses associated with current switches used in power quality applications. This power quality dual channel combines the features of a PROFET, DMOSFET, and IGFP in one package, making it an ideal solution for a variety of power solutions.

The STEVAL-ISQ002V1 allows users to evaluate and optimize the features of the STGW30NC60WD dual-channel improved fourteenth generation IGBT and investigate the effect of noise on the total performance. Additionally, the board provides the user the ability to measure transient soft/hard switching behavior of the IGBT in normal and short circuit standstill conditions. It also offers users the opportunity to measure IGBT\'s switching and conduction losses as well as evaluate the corresponding power losses.

The STEVAL-ISQ002V1 is comprised of the STGW30NC60WD dual-channel improved fourteenth generation IGBT, a main N-channel DMOSFET, a buffer N-channel DMOSFET, two input/output FETs, and a driver board. The STGW30NC60WD is a dual-channel IGBT that features high-current density and medium-voltage IGBTs in a single package featuring a peak current capability of 13A and a blocking voltage of 600V.

The STEVAL-ISQ002V1 includes a driver board that provides the user with an easy-to-use interface for the STGW30NC60WD. The driver board includes an MCU, a DAC, two input/output FETs, and connectors. It also features analog and digital connectors for various I/O signals including supplies enable, current sense resistors, resistive sensor for over-temperature protection, and slew rate control signals. The driver board is also capable of monitoring input voltage, control voltage, IGBT current, fault output, and thermal status.
