STLC5046 application field and working principle
The STLC5046 is a low power, low cost, high performance and high-quality CODEC integrating a programmable microphone amplifier and audio class-D amplifier. Developed by ST Microelectronics, the device supports both analog and digital inputs/outputs, making it suitable for a wide variety of applications such as consumer, industrial and medical applications.
Programmable Microphone Amplifier
The STLC5046 features a programmable microphone amplifier with a gain range of -20 dB to 60 dB and a gain step of 0.5 dB. It also provides a software programmable low-pass filter to reject low frequency noise from the input signal. The device also enables adjusting microphone bias current and the maximum gain of the microphone amplifier, which allows engineers to optimize the performance of their system. Audio Class-D Amplifier
