The STLC5048 is an analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog codec (codec) designed for use in a variety of applications. It is used in an interface either between digital circuits and analog audio systems, such as pro audio and consumer audio equipment, or between analog and digital systems, such as analog TV and digital TV receivers. The codec supports sample rates from 32kHz to 192kHz at 16-, 24- and 32-bit resolution. The STLC5048 can also be used for other applications such as voltage input and output for active filters, high-precision ADC and DAC for motor control, and pulse-width-modulation (PWM) applications in motor and power control systems.
