Working Principle

This voltage is then used to dictate the state of the output channel, either ON (output voltage near VH rail) or OFF (output voltage near VL rail).At the same time, the low side FET driver will be triggered to generate a voltage between VL and CH. This voltage is then used to pull the output voltage of the channel back to the VL rail. The logic used to control the output is capable of handling a wide range of output voltages and is easily adjustable to any desired level.The STLDC08PUR is also capable of providing protection against overcurrent and overvoltage conditions. The chip is capable of monitoring up to 8 channels of output and it can quickly react to overcurrent and overvoltage conditions. In the event of an overcurrent/overvoltage condition, the device will enter a fault condition and start to reduce the current.
