STLQ015M25R is a three-terminal 1.5A adjustable voltage regulator of the Linear type. It offers an extremely low output noise voltage, high accuracy and low power consumption. It is designed to control and regulate the output voltage of a power supply to ensure that the device or system runs efficiently and reliably. This PMIC series operates over a wide input voltage range of 9V - 24V and provides an adjustable output voltage range of 1.2V to 24V. It also comes with built-in current limit protection and wide temperature range of -40°C to +85°C.STLQ015M25R is suitable for multiple application fields and provide power solution for various devices. The voltage regulation loop includes an output voltage sensing circuitry, a voltage error amplifier and an error amplifier output driving the transistor, as shown in fig.1 below.When the input voltage V IN is applied, it is compared to the reference voltage V REF and any difference between them is amplified to generate a control voltage V CTRL . The control voltage drives the output voltage by controlling the current in the output transistor. The output voltage V OUT is then regulated to maintain a constant level within certain conditions. Since the regulated output voltage is generally lower than the input voltage, the linear voltage regulator also acts as a voltage divider.
