In addition, the device offers thermal shutdown protection by monitoring the temperature of its own power switch. When the temperature reached higher than the normal working temperature level, the device will immediately pull the output pin, informing the monitoring systems about the alarm and protection for the power supply line.
The STM707M6E also has a reset output. This provides an output pulse when the power supply voltage reaches a predetermined level. The reset output pin provides a reset indication when the power supply voltage rises above a programmable set voltage. The device also includes a disable input pin, in order to enable or disable the system.
