The STM708SM6F is a multi-function power system supervisor integrated circuit (IC). The device combines the features of an undervoltage lockout (UVLO), voltage detection, low voltage reset (LVR) and a watchdog timer - all in a single package. As a result, the chip provides a cost-effective solution to dozens of uses in modern systems, including digital cameras, automotive control systems, industrial equipment, telecoms, computers and consumer electronics.

The STM708SM6F forms the basis of the power management system in many applications. It monitors three voltage rails: supply, output and reset. It uses two independent analog thresholds to lock out low voltage and two independent reset sources to provide reset signals for analog parts and digital sections of the system.
