STM708SAM6F is an advanced supervisory monitor circuit (PMIC – Supervisors) designed by STMicroelectronics. It provides protection and fault detection functions for automotive systems. It is designed to monitor the power supply voltage, react to over-voltage and under-voltage alarm conditions, as well as over-temperature alarm conditions. It is extremely robust, featuring long-term low quiescent current consumption, automated reset timing, and advanced reset signal generation capabilities.The STM708SAM6F is a two-channel monitoring and safety circuit. The first channel monitors the supply input voltage and indicates if it is above the upper or below the lower threshold. The second channel monitors the temperature.The STM708SAM6F is designed to operate with an external reference voltage and an external temperature sensor such as an NTC thermistor. It has an adjustable range between 4.0V and 20V, making it suitable for a variety of applications. Furthermore, its low quiescent current consumption enables a low-power platform solution.The STM708SAM6F also features innovative performance adjustment, filter adjustment and event counter features.
