The STPS61170CW diode is a part of the STMicroelectronics rectifier family. It is a three-pin, 800 V, 17 A, surface mount stud rectifier, designed to meet the high voltage, high current requirements of power converter topologies. It is a low-profile, thermally efficient, and easy to assemble device. This device is ideal for applications such as, SMPSs, PFCs, DC-DC converters, back-end regulators, motor drives and telecom power supplies.

The STPS61170CW incorporates two ultra-fast discrete diodes in a SMD two leaded package. When configured in an array of multiple devices, parallel branches of closely matching diodes provide superior reliability.
