TVS diodes, or transient voltage suppression diodes, are a type of diode that is primarily used for the purpose of voltage transient suppression. TVS diodes are also called clamping diodes, surge limiters, TVS diodes, or transient voltage suppressors (TVS). They are essential to protect electronic equipment from over-voltage conditions due to lightning, induced electrical fields, and electrostatic discharges. The TA6F24AHM3_A/H is a type of bidirectional transient voltage suppression diode.
