1. Description

TC74HC590AP is a high-speed CMOS 8-BIT Counter/register made of silicon gate C2MOS technology. It achieves high-speed operation similar to the equivalent LSTTL also maintains the low power consumption of CMOS. Rising edge of internal counter count When the counter clock enable (CCKEN) is the counter clock (CCK) low. When the counter clear (CCLR) is low, the internal counter is Cleared asynchronously with the clock. The data in the internal counter is loaded into the register The rising edge of the register clock (RCK), and the register The output is controlled by the enable input (G). All inputs are equipped with anti-static protection circuit Discharge or transient overvoltage.

2. Features 

    1. High speed: fmax = 62 MHz (typ.) at VCC = 5 V 

    2. Low power dissipation: ICC = 4 μA (max) at Ta = 25°C 

    3. High noise immunity: VNIH = VNIL = 28% VCC (min) 

    4. Output drive capability: 15 LSTTL loads for QA to QH 

                                               10 LSTTL loads for RCO

    5. Symmetrical output impedance: |IOH| = IOL = 6 mA (min) 

                                                             For QA to QH 

                                                             |IOH| = IOL = 4 mA (min) 

                                                             For RCO

    6. Balanced propagation delays: tpLH ≈ tpHL

    7. Wide operating voltage range: VCC (opr) = 2 to 6 V
