TCM809TVNB713 is an innovative power management integrated circuit (PMIC) module, designed for powerful and flexible power management in control applications. It provides a wide range of features that allow the designer to easily achieve superior system performance in the most demanding power management applications. The TCM809TVNB713 provides a two level approach to power management that requires two separate physical interfaces to its targets. The first level, referred to as the Supervisor, provides basic system reset and power protection functions. It also contains a variety of programmable output voltage settings, allowing the designer to program the output voltage specifications of their system. The second level is called the System Controller, and it provides the system with comprehensive power management and thermal management capabilities. This includes power sequencing, over-current protection and thermal protection. In addition, the System Controller provides the system with access to a number of critical system parameters, such as voltage, current, temperature and time.The Supervisor of the TCM809TVNB713 provides system reset functions with a low level reset signal, as well as under voltage protection. The reset signal is generated when the pin drops below the UVLO (Under Voltage Lock Out) Threshold. This reset signal can be used to reset the system, or it can be used to trigger the power-on-reset (POR) function. The Supervisor also provides voltage monitoring capabilities with the output voltage over and under protection (OVP and OVP).
