The TDR1A22 features a compact design with both single and dual-outputs for controlling two independent circuits. It offers up to five different time delay ranges of 0.1 second to 5000 hours, and is capable of providing accurate timing over a wide range of temperature and environmental conditions. With its advanced functionality, the TDR1A22 is ideal for controlling motors, pumps, fans, and other motors. Application FieldTime Delay Relays such as the TDR1A22 are widely used in a number of different industrial applications. These relays are commonly used to provide a short delay for pre-programmed brakes or automatic limit stops. They are also useful for short-circuit protection and motor start-up protection. Working PrincipleThe TDR1A22 Time Delay Relay operates on the principle of controlling two separate contactors in conjunction with an adjustable timer. Once activated, the timer begins to count down and opens or closes the corresponding contactors once the countdown reaches zero. After the predetermined setting time has elapsed, the contactors will revert back to their original state. The contactors can also be manually operated at any time, overriding the timer. The TDR1A22 also features an input voltage selector, allowing the device to be powered by either AC or DC power sources.
