TEA1533AT/N1 is a PMIC (Power Management IC) specialised in AC/DC converters and offline switchers. The Control Logic Section handles the voltage and current sense inputs, the control circuitry, compared with oscillator and the latch circuit. The power MOSFET driver section consists of the Gate Driver, OVP driver, UVLO driver, and driver amplifier circuitry. The PWM comparator gets feedback from the current sense input and compares it with the reference voltage to generate an output signal. The driver section is responsible for driving the power MOSFETs, depending on the logic inputs.The TEA1533AT/N1 has various features that make it suitable for offline switchers and AC/DC converters. These features include frequency jittering, low standby power, reduced EMI generation, overvoltage and overtemperature protection, and soft start.The frequency jittering feature helps reduce EMI, improve efficiency and reduce stress on the switching elements.
