The PMIC – AC DC Converters, Offline Switchers of TEA1622P is a secondary fly-back based switcher for low power offline AC to DC or DC to DC conversion. It is optimized for mains-powered applications with an input voltage of 80-265VAC and an output of up to 8W, with output voltages of up to 12V. It improves system efficiency by providing high power factor, low harmonic distortion, and an integrated correction system which can operate in Quasi-Resonant mode.

The TEA1622P/N1,112 is a primary-side sensed fly back converter IC and integrates an integrated 800 V MOSFET, a high voltage start-up circuit, and a 16-bit fixed frequency and peak current mode PWM controller. The I2C interface provides access to the EEPROM and various setting options. It is designed to meet the existing EN61000-3-2 harmonics standards, and have a low no-load standby power consumption.
