Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitors
Aluminum electrolytic capacitors are electronic components used in a wide variety of applications. They are basically two aluminum plates that are separated by a dielectric material, usually an electrolyte that is composed of a thin film of porous metal oxide that acts as the dielectric layer. The molecules of these oxides are electrically charged, and the plates are connected by an external electrical current.
