The EVAL3502-C Evaluation Board consists of a temperature controller, current regulator and 3 stage dimming control. The current regulator precisely drives the LED current as per the set level. The 3 stage dimming control module has three dimming stages, dimming 1, dimming 2 and dimming 3. The working principle of the VAL3501-3502-C Evaluation Board is based on two different LED technologies, white and multicolor LEDs. White LEDs are driven from the EVAL3502-C Evaluation Board, whereas multicolor LEDs are driven from both the EVAL3502-C and the EVAL3501-C boards. The EVAL3502-C Board provides a low dropout linear current regulator to deliver a stable current to the LEDs. The VAL3501-C Board is used to control the 3 stage dimming control of the multicolor LEDs. The VAL3501-C Board is also equipped with a high efficiency low power consuming linear regulator.

The EVAL3501-3502-C Evaluation Board can also be used to study the dynamic characteristics of the LED performance. It can also be used to evaluate the dimming characteristics of multicolor LEDs. The dynamic control of the LED current can be studied without the use of a power supply. The dynamic control of the current is managed by adjusting the pulse width modulation duty cycle. The EVAL3501-3502-C Board also provides the option to study the effects of the temperature on LED performance.
