Working Principle

The working principle of THS3121CDGNG4 is based on the concepts of positive-feedback and negative-feedback. Even though the amplifier is using positive-feedback to amplify the gain but it does not cause the amplifier to be unstable due to the presence of negative feedback. The amplifier has an adjustable gain bandwidth along with a high common mode rejection ratio (CMRR).

The input signal is applied to the input terminal of the amplifier and an output is produced from the output terminal of the amplifier. The input signal is then amplified by the amplifier and converted into a higher level of power output. The output is also free from noise due to the utilization of a low noise operational amplifier. The output is then fed back to the input through the feedback network. Within the feedback network, resistors and capacitors are used to form an RC network, which provides the negative feedback. This negative feedback prevents the amplifier from being instable and limits the output gain.
