The TL081CDT is an ideal amplifier for applications in the audio, video and similar fields. In the audio field, the TL081CDT is used for amplifying the low level signals from audio sources such as microphones, CD players, and so on. The TL081CDT is also used in the video field for amplifier applications such as where the signal is coaxial and a low voltage DC offset is needed. It is also a very suitable choice for signal conditioning applications such as filters, mixers and instrument amplifiers. Working Principle
The TL081CDT uses a dual differential configuration with a complementary input stage. This configuration essentially increases the power gain of the amplifier. The output stage is fully complementary and incorporates class A/B output stages for low distortion and excellent high frequency response. The output stage also supports up to 40mA peak current output and is adjustable over a wide range of control voltages. Additionally, the TL081CDT includes a high current constant frequency oscillator, which provides excellent startup time and phase margin. This oscillator is critical to the operation of the amplifier and ensures the amplifier is stable over a wide range of applications.

The TL081CDT is a low-cost, low-noise, high bandwidth operational amplifier that offers excellent performance for a wide range of audio and video applications. It features an adjustable gain of up to 100 dB, an adjustable offset up to 6 V, and a wide frequency range of 20 Hz to 20 kHz. The TL081CDT also sports a low input bias current of 0.36 μA, a high slew rate of 11 V/μs, and a high voltage gain of 102 dB. Additionally, the TL081CDT features distortion of less than 0.1% THD at 1 kHz, and a total quiescent power dissipation of 8 mW.
