TL317PS Application Field and Working PrincipleThe TL317PS is a linear voltage regulator from Texas Instruments. It is a three-terminal adjustable regulator that provides faster transient response and better low-dropout performance. In addition, it features an overload protection circuit to guard against a short circuit condition. The overload protection circuit runs an internally regulated current that is lower than the maximum output current.
