TL431ACLPRPG is a self operated programmable voltage reference with integrated adjustable current-limiting and thermal shutdown. The device is a 3-terminal regulator, voltage reference, and precision current-limiter, containing an adjustment terminal, a voltage-monitoring (COMP) terminal and a ground (GND). It operates as a low-dropout (LDO) linear regulator, with a wide range of current-limiting values and thermal shutdown protection for both input and output.TL431ACLPRPG is a voltage reference device with precision performance and robustness. It is designed for use in power management, battery monitoring, and industrial/automotive power systems as well as voltage regulation applications. The device has a wide input voltage range, up to 2A of output current and a power dissipation of up to 3.2W. It has a low internal output impedance and high accuracy in the ±5% voltage output range. It also offers a low drop-out voltage of up to 1.3V. This device is sensitive to EMI and RF interference because of its low drop-out voltage and is recommended for applications where noise immunity is important.The key feature of the TL431ACLPRPG is its integrated current limiting protection and thermal shutdown.
