If the voltage between these two pins is greater than 2.500V, current is drawn from the REF pin, thereby causing the output voltage to decrease. If the voltage between the two pins is lower than 2.500V, current is drawn from the OUT pin and the output voltage increases, thereby keeping it at a constant 2.500V. This mechanism ensures stable operation over a wide range of input voltages and operating conditions.The device has an excellent temperature coefficient of 0.2 mV/°C and can operate in temperatures ranging from -40°C to +85°C. The device also has an excellent long term stability of ±3 mV and an output impedance of 50 Ω.
