The TLC082IDG4 is an active low-noise, low-power and low-drift CMOS unity gain operative amplifier chip. As a two-channel single supply op-amp, the TLC082IDG4 is designed to control dc operating points, amplify voltage and current signals, provide buffering, and provide the low-level operation needed for audio and consumer electronics applications, as well as data communication circuits. This device is suitable for use in linear-amplifiers, instrumentation, op-amps, and buffer amplifiers.
The TLC082IDG4 features a low noise input stage for maximum stability and a wide input common-mode range of ≥2 V. This device has particularly low noise, –86dBV, at 1kHz and a maximum input-referred noise of 1.75 micro-volts/sqrt(Hz). On the output side it has low distortion, low output current, and a wide output voltage range of 0–VCC. Additionally, it has an output switch that invites operation from ultra-high impedance sources.
The operating temperature of the TLC082IDG4 ranges from -40ºC to 125ºC for the commercial versions, and up to 150ºC for the special versions. Its supply voltage ranges from 3V to 18V and it is available in 8-pin \'D\' packages.
The TLC082IDG4 is a general-purpose unity gain amplifier with an output current of 13 mA. It is designed with a high input impedance of greater than 10GOhms and a low output impedance of 3kOhms, which makes it ideal for buffering applications such as current sensing, low-gain summing, precision amplification and low-noise analog signal conditioning.
