The TLC1078IP device is a dual channel, very-low-noise, rail-to-rail instrumentation amplifier, based on an improved architecture of Texas Instruments\' TLC1074 device. It is a versatile, high performance line driver ideal for active filtering, line driving, tracking and high-side current sensing applications. The TLC1078IP device is designed to operate with very low quiescent current and can achieve very low distortion levels with only 3 mV of input bias current.

The TLC1078IP is designed to operate in a Linear-Amplifiers-Instrumentation, OP-Amps, Buffer-Amps application field. It features two channels, a proprietary architecture that achieves very low quiescent current, and a bandwidth of up to 1 MHz. The device is able to operate on a single supply voltage ranging from 3.0V to 36V. It can also be used as a dual-supply amplifier since one of its channels can be routed to a positive supply voltage, and the other to a negative supply voltage.

The TLC1078IP device can output in single-ended or differential modes, and can be configured as a single-ended input or differential input amplifier. It features low input bias currents, low noise, and low offset voltage; together, these features give it excellent performance in active filtering, line driving, tracking and high-side current sensing applications.
