TLC279IDR Application Field and Working Principle

TLC279IDR is a linear integrated circuit that is used in instrumentation, operational amplifiers (op amps), buffer amps and other similar applications. It is a low-power, low-voltage, low-cost solution for many linear amplifier applications, such as temperature sensing and monitoring, LEDs, transducers, oscilloscopes, medical instruments, data converters, sensors, power supplies, and other linear amplifier tasks. The TLC279IDR is an 8-pin IC package. It is designed to provide a wide range of power gains up to 200 milliwatts, depending on the application. It has a wide voltage range and a low power consumption of 0.5 mW. It is designed to operate over a temperature range of -40℃ to +85℃ and with a maximum working voltage of 26 volts. The TLC279IDR is a Differential Input Single Output (DI-SO) amplifier. It works by amplifying both the electrical inputs and the current, applied on each input, to the respective outputs. The inputs are connected to the output of the amplifier by a differential amplifier which is driven by a power amplifier circuit. The power amplifier circuit is then connected to the output of the amplifier. The TLC279IDR has two types of output correction circuits. The Voltage Feedback Output High/Neutral/Low (VF-OH/N/HL) has two outputs at the same voltage level, one for each of the inputs. The Follower Output High/Neutral/Low (FO-OH/N/HL) has only one output which follows the voltage level of the input. The TLC279IDR can be used in a variety of applications such as amplifier designs, current sensing and monitoring, load sensing and control, audio circuit designs and so on. It is suitable for design in linear applications requiring a wide voltage range, low power consumption and high performance. In addition to its use in instrumentation, op amps and buffer amps, the TLC279IDR can also be used in various linear circuits, such as DC-DC converters, voltage control, waveform generation and stepping circuits, to name a few. It can be used for the isolation of the outputs from the inputs, for voltage regulation and for controlling the current across the load.Apart from its linear applications, the TLC279IDR is also suitable for applications such as video amplifiers, audio amplifiers, motor control circuits and filter circuits. It can be used for filtering out AC signals, for coupling and decoupling of circuits and for providing isolation between circuits.
