It is also equipped with a P-channel FET for improved power supply compatibility and current sinking capability. The low noise operation reduces EMI at the output, resulting in less system noise.
TLE6368G1’s active-low RESET input is ideal for monitoring the power supply and resetting the output in case of an over-voltage or under-voltage fault. It offers a wide voltage range, from 0V up to 36V. Its current sinking and low voltage drop capability make it great for driving gates, switches and inductive loads.
TLE6368G1 has a built-in sense resistor to provide over-temperature protection. Thermally protected function prevents the output from exceeding safe operating temperature, preventing damage to the device. The 8-pin package makes it easy to mount on a PCB (Printed Circuit Board). TLE6368G1 is designed to provide consistent performance, and improved voltage-limited output capability.
TLE6368G1’s working principle is based on buck-boost topology. Buck mode is the main mode of operation, wherein it reduces the voltage of the input power supply down to the desired output voltage. Boost mode occurs only when the output voltage is higher than the input voltage and the device is designed to run buck-boost design. This topology offers additional protection against current and voltage surges.
