The TLK2201ARCPRG4 is a high-performance transceiver, built for communication highways such as industrial Ethernet, Fibre Channel, and Serial Rapid IO. It is capable of operating up to 25MHz - 2.5 Gbps, and is compatible with multiple serial bus standard such as Serial Rapid IO, Fibre Channel, JESD204B and even custom protocols.
The TLK2201ARCPRG4 offers an integrated 4-channel 10/100/1000BASE-T Ethernet PHY and offers an on-chip medium-dependent interface (MDI) for twisted-pair cables for transmission and reception of industrial Ethernet frames.
The TLK2201ARCPRG4 also features a cross-point switch, providing programmable routing between its various interfaces, enabling connection between different serial protocols and Ethernet interfaces. This interface also provides a very low latency for industrial applications.
Furthermore, the TLK2201ARCPRG4 also provides integrated-interface protocol converters to facilitate the connection between the logical interfaces and the physical interface. This protocol converter supports both serial and parallel bus protocols. The TLK2201ARCPRG4 also includes an integrated clock synthesizer, capable of generating frequencies up to 50MHz.
