It offers various active-low reset outputs and programmable reset sequence. It operates over a single supply ranging from 4.5V to 16V, and can easily be configured to generate multiple reset signals.

The device has an integrated brown-out detector which provides early warning against voltage drop by switching off loads when the supply voltage falls below a preset level. It also features a programmable active-low reset output which is triggered by the brown-out detector to reset or deactivate system functions.

The device is equipped with a watchdog timer which can either be enabled or disabled with the help of a reset pin. It is designed to periodically check the performance of a system, and when the system fails to respond, the watchdog timer output can be triggered to reset or disable the system.

The device uses an integrated glitch capture circuit to temporarily hold off a reset signal in case of short-duration voltage transients. It reduces the reset time, which in turn helps to minimize system downtime.

The TLV853MDBZT also features programmable power-on threshold voltage, which can be adjusted to fit the user’s application.
