The TMCM-3315 board and module is primarily designed to drive different types of brushless DC motors, such as stepper motors, brushless servomotors, permanent magnet-type DC motors and high power motors. The driver can accurately control the operation of high power motors at low cost, thereby greatly enhancing the efficiency of the application.The versatile properties of the TMCM-3315 also make it suitable for use in industrial automation equipment and motion control systems, such as automated manufacturing lines, packaging machines, and other process control systems. The TMCM-3315 board and module is based on a single-chip unity power motor driver integrated with an on-chip 16-bit MCU control unit. The main function of the driver is to provide a current path to the motor from the power supply, and this is achieved by switching power MOSFETs. By using pulse width modulation (PWM), these MOSFETs can be continuously opened and closed as directed by the MCU.The main features of the TMCM-3315 are its power efficiency and advanced motor-control algorithms, such as closed-loop control and position feedback, velocity control, and multiple micro-steps. With these algorithms, the board and module are capable of producing smooth and accurate motion with very little energy, and thereby delivering high performance motion control.To ensure high-quality performance, the TMCM-3315 also comes equipped with several safety features, such as current sensing, temperature monitoring and communication error monitoring.
